The Winnetonka drumline competed for the first time this year at Carrolton High School on Saturday, September 23^rd. Sitting in class 5A, they took 2^nd place and 7^th place overall out of 25 drumlines. Following up on how they did, Drum Captain Kent Kerek says, "We got nervous, and we just didn't play like we usually do." When asking Kerek how will the next competition be different? He replied, "For Trenton, I think were gonna lock in, do well, and fix our tempo." 
The drumline; a 13 person battery and 6 person frontline, travels to Trenton High School this Saturday on the 21^st to compete in the highest class along side our rival North Town High School.
